DAROL HOFFMAN

Born in Cavalier, ND, Darol Hoffman spent a short time living in Crystal, ND before finally calling Langdon, ND home. He graduated from Langdon High School in 1984 and studied business at North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton.
Upon finishing college in 1987 and moving home, Hoffman began his career in retail lumber with Stegman’s Builders Supply of Langdon. Four years later, he went on to work for Langdon Building Center. In 1997, the opportunity arose to purchase Walhalla Building Center in Walhalla, ND. He continues to own and run this location today.
Hoffman has also been engaged in farming with his son on the family farm for the past 16 years in the Langdon and Munich areas. He has also been involved in many local community organizations such as the Walhalla Sportsman’s Club and Langdon Prairie Health hospital board. He is an active member of the Langdon Fire Department, board member on the Planning & Zoning Committee for the city of Langdon, and board member for the Walhalla Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Hoffman and his wife, Michelle, have two children: Chris, and wife Koree of Langdon, Kayla, of Langdon. They are the proud grandparents of four grandchildren: Kaden, Mya, Hudson, and Griffin.
